Johnny Cash's cover of Hurt by NIN has me in genuine tears right now... what a beautiful and tragic way to finish a long and incomparable career as an American legend. I can't help but wonder if he knew he was about to die when he recorded this, it's just so genuine...

It always amazes me how much music can change a person... how inspirational, painful, and vital it can be. I could listen to Johnny Cash every day, and that voice would still cast the same magic on me.

What an artist... I hope he's remembered forever.
